When we launched our TikTok account back in October 2023, we had a simple goal: to make investing more understandable and less intimidating for the everyday person. Fast forward to today—we’ve just crossed 90,000 followers! 🙌

This milestone isn’t just a number. It represents thousands of lives impacted, questions asked, comments shared, and yes… even a few scams we had to fight off. So today, I want to share 3 lessons we’ve learned from this journey—and how they apply to investing, education, and life.

Despite all the research and double-checking, sometimes we make mistakes. Thankfully, many of you have been kind enough to point them out in the comments—politely and constructively.

Just like in investing, mistakes will happen. What matters is how quickly we learn, correct, and move forward. So thank you for keeping us accountable and helping us grow.

One big reason we started this channel is because financial literacy is still sorely lacking in Singapore’s education system. Topics like investing, managing money, or reading a company’s financial statements are rarely discussed in school.

With growth comes… impersonators. Yes, we’ve had our fair share of scammers and fake accounts pretending to be me, asking people to invest in crypto, open brokerage accounts, or transfer money. 😡

Let me be very clear:

I will NEVER message you asking you to buy crypto, deposit money, or open any account.
My only official TikTok handle is @caydenchanginvesting (all lowercase).

Some fake accounts even use sneaky tactics like using a capital "I" instead of a lowercase one to impersonate me. So stay vigilant and always double-check.

As we celebrate this milestone, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for your support, your feedback, and your belief that anyone can learn to invest wisely—with the right mindset and education.
